Introduction to RC Aircraft
This page presents an introduction to the equipment a more in-depth review and tutorials can be found in our review and tutorial section of this web site.
RC Aircraft available today is without a doubt the most exciting we have seen in our sport. You can purchase just about any type, style, scale, size and power aircraft you can think of. Here are only some of the aircraft available.
Learning to fly is best and easiest if you purchase or have access to a trainer airplane. Some clubs and instructors have these types of planes for use until you can get your own. Trainer planes are usually of a high wing configuration which offers stable low speed flying for ease of learning. These airplanes come in various configurations, makes and models. Consult with your instructor prior to buying.

When you have developed the skills necessary to graduate from student to pilot, you may want to move to a different aircraft. With so many to choose from, we suggest you discuss this move with your instructor. Together you can determine the type of flying you want to learn next and make the right purchase.

The journey of RC Flying has so many roads we can travel. Our advice from here is to make sure you put in the time to learn the basics of flying. With this knowledge you can successfully make this journey. Keep working with your instructor or the senior pilots of your club to ensure you are not only ready to advance, but also the aircraft you purchase, assemble and connect to your controller are ready to be flown. A mistake in this process can result in a costly venture.

As you can see from the pictures, the choices are endless, from mini to giant scale.
